Plumbing Done...Time to close it up!
It's been awhile, but we've managed to get the rough plumbing for the drains and vents, and then over the last week....the new copper in the ground.
We have put the main copper plumbing under the slab, where it is protected and out of the way. All that trenching has paid off, and now the next step is to get all that covered over, compact the sand over the pipes and insulation, and put in the rebar for reinforcement.
We are prepped for the concrete to arrive tomorrow and to FINALLY close in the trenches. It's only been a couple of weeks to get this all done ( on a part-time basis ), but it sure feels like longer !
Having the temps up around 100 degrees hasn't sped things up either. :)
So, next post will be filling in all the structural pieces for the slab and getting the dust back in the trenches !
Can't wait for the new floor..I know, its the small things in life.
Hopefully I'll have pics and maybe a movie of the concrete pour tomorrow. Up early to pour in the cool AM.
Thanks for checking in !
